THERE IS BURN BAN IN MAHONING TOWNSHIP |
POSTING
July 8, 2024
Mahoning Township Resident(s):
As you may know, Mahoning Township is faced with the need to reconstruct Westside Road. The Township is applying for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds through the Carbon County Board of Commissioners for fiscal year 2024 for this project.
In order to qualify for the CDBG Funds, it is necessary to conduct a survey to obtain certain demographic information of those households in the project area. We will be mailing surveys on Monday July 15, 2024. If you receive a survey, please complete, sign and mail it back to our office by Friday, August 2, 2024 in the enclosed envelope.
We cannot stress enough the importance of your cooperation in completing and signing this survey. All households must complete the survey in order for CDBG funds to be utilized to reconstruct Westside Road.
We appreciate the time taken to complete the survey and look forward to the Township being successful in utilizing CDBG funds for this important project. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 570-386-4002 or David Bodnar, Director of The Carbon County Office of Planning & Development at 570-325-3671.
Sincerely,
Natalie Haggerty
